Clippy is a handy utility that will save typing time when entering repetative data into online forms.
How many times have you had to enter your email address as your logon credentials?
How many times have you made a typographical error and have to re-enter your credentials?
What about other form filling that requires the same text such as address over and over again?
Do you like repetative typing? No?
* Clippy can help you *
Clippy can store your repetative text and can enable you to fill in those forms with a few mouse clicks and hence, save time and possible typographical errors.
Clippy can not only store logon credentials but other form filling data as well, such as address, telephone numbers, email addresses, or whatever you wish to store.
All the data can be stored in Clippy for easy retrieval and you wont have to type a thing.
Clippy has 3 seperate lists so that you can segregate your text strings. On install these lists are named ‘Home and personal items’, ‘Office and work items’ and ‘Other items for your convenience.
The lists in Clippy can be renamed so that you can name them anything you wish for any purpose e.g. The list named ‘Other items’ could be renamed ‘Web entries’ or ‘Joes data’ or ‘Work stuff’ etc. etc.
Each text entry in Clippy can be up to 999 characters.
If your computer has multiple user accounts, no problem. Clippy can be used per user and each user will have their set of lists. Each user will be individually licensed.
Clippy will remember your last selected item for each list, even after Clippy has restarted.
Clippy will use very low system resources, typically 10Mb disk space and 10Mb of available memory.
Clippy has been tested on numerous Microsoft operating systems and designed to run on Windows XP and above.
*** Although Clippy can store your passwords we strongly advise against this ***
